[IMG] While looking for some fan sites on Christopher Lee's Darth Tyranus (I think he is much cooler than Vader or Maul btw) I came across this..

    A very star wars xmas

    He played Darth Tyranus before!

    Two things.

First off, there's no such person as 'Darth Tyranus.' And if I know who you're talking about, his name is Count Dooku.

Second, I doubt that he's the guy that played Dooku. To my knowledge, he was played by Christopher Lee.

If you'll remember at the end of Episode II, when Count Dooku flies to Corascant to meet up with Darth Sidious, Sidious greets him by saying, "Welcome home, Lord Tyranus." So that is actually correct. Check the books of you don't believe it.

Also, that is Christopher Lee. I've seen another site that varifies this too, but it was a while ago and I dont have a URL. That one may have been bogus, too, but I really doubt it. It's old, but the picture does look just like him.

    You're excu-u-u-u-u-u-u-u-u-sed. :D

I've only seen it once, I just thought it was a cool, evil sounding name. So much so that my evil Necromancer in BG2 is named Tyranus.

[IMG] Goes to prove Christopher Lee is a great actor. Anyone who saw him in the Three Musketeers with Oliver Reed can concur with me.

Plus his "Tyranus Unleashed" statue is just so DAMN COOL.

[IMG] I don't know, I'm a bit skeptical. How come I've never heard of this before? I'm a Star Wars nut. I would've known about this before now. :p

Although at the end AOTC, Sidious/Palpatine acknowledges Dooku as Lord Tyranus.

However, that's not the first time you hear about Tyranus.

In the Jango Fett apartment scene on Kamino, Obi-Wan interrogates Jango Fett, who lets slip that he was hired by a man named Tyranus on one of the moons of Bogden.

[IMG] I also didn't hear of Luca's Christmas shows actually. My guess is that they can be found at sci-fi/comic conventions.
