what ToB poster?

 

where is the poster? where? where? I wanna see!

 

I guess he means the woman pictured in the adverts. You know, the one with the feathers in her hair and the nasty taste in gloves. If your still not sure, visit the official site and you will see her on the left hand side of the sceen. Anyway, I don't know who she is but the picture (on the official site) is called melissan4. So I suppose she is Melissan. Unfortunately, I have no idea who Melissan is.

PS A quick search on the web suggests it might be something to do with Dragonlance. So, it's probably just a bit of artwork inspired from a Dragonlance charcater. No doubt someone here will no for certain though.

She is a fallen solar AFAIK, and a 'protector' or some such thing of the Bhaal children, but inevitably had some kind of secret agenda.

 

Played through it, found out who Melissan really is, but it was rather difficult to get the dialogs out of Infinity Explorer (it's a damn maze). Anyways, spoiler alert, you know the drill.

Her real name is Amelyssan the Blackhearted, and she was apparently the High Matriarch and Deathstalker of a Bhaalist temple, who harbored the Slayer upon being cast out during the Time of Troubles. Bhaal apparently entrusted the secrets of his resurrection to her, as she retained the essence of Bhaal after he died, and gained power with the death of each Bhaalspawn, backstabbing Bhaal in the process.
