Why can't I be my NPCs' guidance counselor?

    In other words...pick their class choices at level ups? I don't care so much for cross-classing, but I'd at least like to have the option to give them a prestige class! If I didn't take Khelgar down the monk route, then he'd make an awesome Dwarven Defender. Or how about Bishop? Homeboy has Blackguard written all over him. Grobnar could take the RDD route like Deekin did. And Elanee could certainly benefit from a few levels of DivChamp or Warpriest.

    So am I drooling for nothing? Is there not a mod or cheat code out there that could accomplish this?

    You'll find mods that allow you to multiclass some of your NPCs. My current Neeshka has four fighter levels, greatly improving her melee abilities. Khelgar became a frenzied berserker which is sort of silly on my part, but it's also fun ;)
