Why can't sorcerers use spell sequencers and contingency spells?

    [​IMG] Ye know, in my BG2 game me've played a sorcerer. At later levels me wanted to give him a spell trigger and a contingency spell, but I realized soon afterwards, that these spells can store 1-st level spells only. I tried to cast these contingency spells from scrolls, AND THEE WORKED!!! Me could store up to 6-th level as it should be with spell trigger. Damn! Me don't understand this, do you?

    the effect of contigency (and what ye can store in one) be dependable on yer sorcerer's level:
    1 spell level at 3 levels of the caster

    That means that lvl17 sorcerer will only be able to place lvl5 spell in it

    minor spell sequencer only stores lvl2 spells in quantity of 2

    spell sequencer stores 3 spells up to lvl4

    boost up yer sorcerer and cut off yer accent, it be so made up

    [​IMG] Could cut it off. I'm gettin bored with it already.

    Yet, the sequencers don't work properly with my sorc.. They store only 1-st level spells, and I can't click to go the the higher levels.
