Why is Anomen romancing my male PC?

So I noticed some new dialogue with Anomen towards the end of SoA, but thought that came from the banterpack. Until he started calling me "my love" and "my dear" etcetera. Now in ToB I'm on my way to the firegiant temple and in the area before that a shade figure posing as Gorion said Anomen was my lover So there's definitly a romance going on, but since my PC is male, I have no idea how or why. Anyone have any ideas, or more importantly, how to make it stop?

I know there's probably too many mods on my install, but so far I've only had minor bugs that could be CLUA fixed. I did some minor SK-ing and CLUA'ed Anomen's knighthood test, but I doubt that's the cause of his sudden romance.

 

Could be the Romance Cheats or perhaps a bug that emerged from Tashia or Kelsey, I've only looked at old versions of the mods, I have no idea if they could have affected the requirements or settings.

It's obvious. You're playing a transgendered pc and Anomen saw right through the ruse (he's a horn dog and is willing to have a go at anything remotely compatible).

The NPC_TWEAK mod adds another Anomen specific item (just like his shield) and tweaks his quest to remove both family items after his father disowns him.

I remember now that the Romance Cheats had an option to ignore gender in romances, but I specifically didn't choose that option. Maybe that's somehow malfunctioned and installed anyway.

Any ideas on how to kill the romance permanently? I already returned to a previous save, waited for a romance talk and chose the nasty "get lost" option, but he still likes me. Can I CLUA-kill the romance?

Now all of the other Pally's will be looking over their shoulder to see if Anomen is around when changing into and out of their armor. That would've been an awesome in-game animation if the romance went down that path.

 

doesn't he get you pregnant? or is it only female npc's that can give birth, and not the male devine?

 

Er, unless he's got a lesser known mod. Only Aerie gets pregnant of the original four romances.

 

I made a special savepoint and then killed the romance with CLUA. It worked like it should. My current run is heavy role-playing, so romancing Anomen was not an option. I might return to the save in the future to see how the romance works out though
