Why no Jaheira or Minsc from Fate Spirit?

    Did you leave them for dead before ToB?? If so, that may affect it.

    I've always been curious about the Fate Spirit. If someone leaves the party in SOA - like when your reputation gets too high or low - can you still summon them?

    You don't by chance have Virtue installed, do you? If so, you can't summon them if you didn't free them from the starting dungeon.

    Did you start a game in ToB only? If so, that's a bug.

    Otherwise, you've left them to die in Irenicus' dungeon. It's not possible to summon any other NPCs if they've died, so why should they be any different?

    Right. Sorry, will be fixed in next release. If you can't wait, you can uninstall Virtue and the option will re-appear. And it can be re-installed again after you've summonned them if you can bring yourself to. :)

    That's a problem I've had too. After I installed Virtue, I could no longer summon Minsc in ToB with the fate spirit. I didn't leave him dead in SoA - I usually left him in the CC awaiting my summonings in ToB. But after Virtue, his name never showed up on the lists anymore. I don't play ToB-only games (unless I'm testing stuff or something).

    BTW I didn't have the problem with Jaheira, but I always had her in my party.

    I just started a couple ToB-only games because I'm writing a review of Ascension and that only really affects ToB. I hate not have Lady Jah.
