Wierd things with Peanut Butter and Jelly

Ok, I know this is kind of gross, but does anyone else out there eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich with coke (or some other softdrink)? Now the wierd part, is I dunk the sandwhich in the coke before I take a bite. Anyone else do this? Or other wierd things with PB & J?

 

WTF? That actually does get eaten, I thought it was an urban myth! Why would you want to eat jam and peanut butter at the same time on the same sandwich, and dunk it coke anyway? Waste of a good peanut butter sandwich IMO.
On that note, who puts butter or margarine on a peanut butter sandwich anyway? It is horrible IMO so I miss it out and just put peanut butter on it.

 

That's not too freaky. What ever happened to Peanutbutter, Lettuce, and Mayo sandwiches. My old man (as in my father) got me hooked on those.

I have tried a proper peanutbutter and jelly sandwich. It was not too my liking. How can people eat that for breakfast? It is basicly raw sugar, my tongue curled up by the sweetness. It be like a good scotch, you have to get used to it.

I used to eat anything sweet as a kid, so peanut butter and jelly is, shall we say, my bread and butter.

Try molten cheese on top of it for extra goo. It's readily available from the fridge too!

 

peanut butter and jelly is nothing. i drink ketchup straight from the bottle.

 

My grandmother used to eat salami, peanut butter, and pickle sandwiches (sometimes with onion). Don't think she still does though.

Anytime someone mentions PB&J on this board, I can't help but think of that post.

I don't see anything wierd about drinking coke while having a PB&J sandwich, even though I don't really like them myself. Garlic and Peanut Butter? Hmm, nobody is going to want to date you for a month.

 

Who remembers fluffernutters (marshmallow cream and PB)? Now THERE'S a sugar hit for ya!

When I was little I liked to mix the PB (Jif) and the J (Welch's grape) into a nice, smooth goo on my toast. Now I like natural PB (no sugar added) and all-fruit spread (strawberry or apricot) on whole grain bread. Geez, I must be getting old!

I regularly have peanut butter and Cheez Whiz. Some people find this gross.

I remember the marshmallow stuff. That was kewl. But ive never really seen it in UK.

I tricked a mate into putting his Pickled Onion monster munch in his strawberry jam sandwich. I thought it would be gross but he said it was greast. So i started eating them, and he was right.

I also like pb & lemoncurd sandwiches.

Anybody ever try that goober grape stuff? It was peanut butter and jelly in one jar, it was striped too or something. You know, its kinda wierd, even though I love PB & J, that mix stuff just grossed me out.

 

Ever tried Groindboinkybutter (South-Afr for PB) with raspberry-ice?

I have to say, it tastes rather..... interesting.

 

I used to enjoy it...before I had to go to the hospital to have the 3-year old peanut butter I used removed from both my windpipe and digestiv tract. *shivers violently* Very unpleasant.

BTW, I heard some guy is trying to make PB and jelly slices, like lunch meat.
