Will I still get 2 Rings of Gaxx with ToB installed?

    [​IMG] I am thinking of playing SoA with ToB installed from the very beginning. I wonder if I still get 2 Ring of Gaxx by pickpocketing + killing Kangax or has this nice little trick been removed? I know it is a cheat (of sorts), but I can't resist using it... Thanks for answers.

    Well, I've gone after the liches many times, due to many run throughs of BG2, but what I've never been able to work out is, at what point can you pick pocket Kangaxx ?Is it when he doesn't have arms and legs, etc and thus can't turn against you ? cos if it's possible for him to turn against you in his simple form, I'd rather not do it, due to how much xp you get for giving him his limbs back.

    Why wouldn't you be able?

    It's a simple pickpocketing just like anything else so by if the developers would remove this, the would also have to remove the whole idea of pickpocketing.

    And for you who don't know:

    When you talks to him with his torso and arms in and legs in your inventory, he will get out of his coffin and if you then pause the game very quick before he starts to talk to you, you should manage to pickpocket the ring from him, then kill him and take the other one.

    I did it a few times before and i worked just fine.
    Bu now i've got ToB , latest patch an lots and lots of mods it didnt want to work anymore. I dont know why. :rolleyes:
