    Why isnt it in icewind dale 2 dimension dorr was my facorite spell anyone know why? OR is there some other spell like it?

    No, because that is cheating. :)

    I used to like the spell too. In fact I remember somewhere in the Glacier (in HOW) there was something (an item I think) that you could only reach (legally of course) with Dimension Door.

    Sending your mage into the fray to cast Sunfire, then instantly retreating him with Dimension Door, was always a fun tactic.

    You can still get Dimension Door (once a day) in IWD II with Nathanial's Ring of the Ram, which you'll find in the Ice Palace. Just make sure you don't have to give it back to him with his other goods.

    Yeah, plus certain NPCs use it as a convenient way of not having to walk off the screen.
