    I grabbed wiz8 from GoG on some cheap discount like 3 bucks. And as a player who missed these series, I chose 8 coz its closer to my time and has aged better than 7 or 6.

    now is there anything I should know bout wiz 8 ? Are there any texture mods to make the game prettier, at least bring it to morrowind graphical level? much appreaciated

    I never had much luck with mods for Wiz 8. There are a few out there if you search, nothing very functional though. The game is fine as is tbh.

    Not related- Played Wizardy 1 (also 2 & 3) back on the apple days. A glitch in leveling up took our ninja from lvl 1 to lvl 240

    I say 'our', because if anyone wanted to complete the game in one run, or grind out some XP, they'd thrown him in the party.

    One of my faves W8 is.

    The fights are cool.
    But they will be plenty and sometimes quite generic.
    As for mods: There are a few of them. Never used any myself, so can't tell 'bout that.

    Wizards & Warriors (2000) from Heuristic Park
    Is one of my favorites too and one that i still remember fondly even today. To bad I could never make it run properly on never Rigs.

    Time to dig out some old components and assemble some sort of Legacy Rig.
