Wizards of the Coast sues Nintendo!

    The lawsuit claims the defendents were engaged in patent infringement, breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, tortuous interference with business relationships, and unjust enrichment. In a statement released by Wizards of the Coast, the company stated that it "has built tremendous brand equity over the years with our popular proprietary trading card games, and aggressively seeks to protect its valuable intellectual property and trade secrets." It sounds like Wizards of the Coast could be a little bitter about losing the rights to make the Pokemon cards to Nintendo. I seriously doubt this case will go to court; expect to see a settlement sometime in the near future.
