    just done my first run thro...!

    Couldnt believe how much the ending reminded me of star wars/lotr.

    from killing irenicus in hell, to the credits theres no way to save is there??

    So i got cheated out of the amulet LOL....assuming you install TOB does it appear in ur inventory?

    with tob installed, where does the game go from the princess` speech ?

    Except for the 'Final Save' the game makes or one you made yourself, you can't save between fighting in Hell and waking up to Elliseme.

    Amulet? Oh, ammy of the Seldarine you mean? I find it in my inventory at the start of ToB.

    Congrats, nothing better than the rush of victory. :thumb: :grin:

    If you install ToB, you will have to beat Jon Irenicus once more from your final save, and then continue on new areas of ToB. Sorry but it is the way it works. But final battle of JonBon in unmodded game must not be too tough, is it?

    Silverstar: Nope, not so. If you start TOB from your final save - pick TOB, new game, import game - the engine only takes all the info from your save and transports you to the beginning of TOB. You can do this with any save.

    If you have TOB installed or install it at some point while playing SOA, you get transported to the beginning of TOB after Ellesime's speech.

    ^I know, but if you import your final save it will be like you did not beat JonBon, and directly jumped to ToB, I mean you will miss things like the XP, am I right?

    Well, yeah. But since you don't have to use the Final Save - you can make Quick/Auto Saves after that - you'll only miss out on the bonuses from the last tear of Bhaal and the exp from the combat. Unless my brain's rotting away, the victory in itself gives you no reward (quest exp or such), and you get the amulet in TOB anyway.

    So yeah, you miss something.

    Personally I think the hell trial bonuses are so ridicilous (at least on the Good side - immune to +1 weapons, c'mon!) that it's a lot more fun to play TOB without any or at least some of them. But that's just me.

    Actually if your quick with the pause button you can do yourself one last save just as the final tear goes in and you get your final bonus. May take a couple of tries to get it saved with the bonus but it can be done.

    The Right point is somewhere between the words appearing and the door gapping open I believe.
