    (Not the telecommuting kind..)

This is kind of a silly question, but...

Out of curiosity…have any of you ever heard of or witnessed an actual *non-scam* work from home kind of deal?

I'm not talking about the "get rich without even working" kind.

But some kind of thing like stuffing envelopes or something that can be done at home for a couple of extra bucks a month?

Personally, with outsourcing and everything else, I think this kind of work is all but gone, but thought it worth asking...

I don't really have the "bandwidth" for an extra job, but if there *are* some small jobs I could do on the side at home, well, every little thing helps...right?

    :)

Yes. Jessica's nut-job of a step-mom works from home. She listens to tape recordings that doctors and medical examiners give her and she types up a transcript so there's a paper version of everything said. Her job will be obsolete once speech to text software is perfected.
