Worst graphics in a game/movie?

    I once had a game where you were on a motor scooter and had to get through a cave, you couldn't smash into the rocks. I went for this huge rock and my character slipped through it, owing to the pants graphics!

    The worst graphics in a game would have to be Akalabeth. You move an "X" on the screen. Nothing is explained. Once, I took one step and starved to death.

    Worst graphics... I agree that Akalabeth may get that title, also a game that I wrote myself in BASIC a long time ago was equally bad. ;) As for movies.... I'd say that considering that it was made so recently, the movie "The 6th Day" had terrible effects.

    I don't know...I thought Baldur's Gate was pretty good until I played NWN. Now it looks crap. I can't play it any more! I've been spoiled! :wail:

    I dont know.. Alkabeth really doesnt have enough graphics to be rated as the game with the worst graphics. I say the original Wolfenstein hehe.

    I could say anything on the Spectrum. But that isn't a fair test. I think yu should be asking what has bad graphics for it's era, depending on what technology was available at the time.

    So, for instance, yes, Wolfensteine has got rubbish graphics, but then, it was made for 386 or 486 processors, maybe early P90.

    I'd have to say any game made during the time when an accelerated video card wasn't common, so games came with hardware and software modes. Anything in Software mode sucks.

    Final Fantasy VIII. Playstation could have done better, especially in the world map. :nolike:

    Plus, the music and the plot gave the the game an extra little stench.

    :yot: @jesper898 FFVII was muc better then VIII. To answer your question I'd have to say that RPG Maker on PS1 had horrible graphics.

    The graphics on GTA3....until i found out there was a problem with Geforce and XP combined that could be solved with a directX 8.1 patch. Phew.

    Hm it can be Daikatana, after all those years and after what being curious that i would see a game by that guy again (John Romero?).It was completely crap, from graphics to gameplay.
    You were supposed to dive in a swamp and you could see the events up on the bridge.
    I said wtf is that, this is crap
