    OK - probably not the best title, given the expansiveness of the lore in Skyrim, but this is probably the best thing I've read on the game. And yes, the guy is a gamer, loves the game, but makes a very interesting point that the game's greatest strength is also potentially its greatest weakness.

    It's worth a month of your life.

    That is really the thing with all the ES games. Their greatest strengths (the freedom and vastness) are in the end their downfall but by the time you are bored with draugr cave number 5238 or to listen to Jarl Hrauggr about his problems you have spent more hours in the game than you thought was possible. I think the frustration might come a bit from that you can't *finish* the games, you can't properly complete them like normal games. Unless you want to do thousands of tedious and similar chores there is always something to do.
