I know why do I live - and that's not your business.

But why do you live - that question can only be answered: by you.

 

There's absolutly no reason to exist...
WELL maybe a few but those reasons are my own and i don't share'em with anyone, got it?

God created the earth will all on it, and also humans... like you. And it was good. And God saw us and he was delighted. Now it's not that good, but it will be good again, when the people who believe this achieved God's goal, the new paradise. That's where we are made for, where we live for.

 

Our reality is a product of our own self-awareness. It is different for each and every one of us.
As to why? then the only answer that rings true in my pointy goblin-ears is that we are here for our own amusement. That's why it is imperative that we all get along and enjoy our short tenure of existence.

I don't know, I do stupid things every week and spend all next week regretting them while I make new stupid mistakes. Haven't got the time to think about why I am here.....

Tried once while looking at the stars and realised for the first time that most of those stars are solar systems with planets like the one I was lying down on, realised just how small and unsignifficant I really am.

I have to agree with Spudsquisher here- 42 is the only answer that makes sense, because it doesn't make sense- give me one good reason why it can't be a two-digit number

Well according to the general consensus in the SP chatroom, my purpose in life is to become a bot and emulate Elminster. And all I have to say to the is:

Currently my purpose in life seems to be to see for how long I can attend school without actually doing any homewrok at home. It has being going on for a while.

 

We are here for two reasions as I see it. My reasion is that you only live once and you should live life fun. But as a people I think that all of us are here to make a small part in a big progect, to one day achive a teconorganic being. And live in harmony with every one. Theirs more to this but it would take up a whole page. I just kept it short, like life.

 

Not to disagree with living for enjoyment, because that's a really good reason, but -- it bogs down when you find yourself doing a lot of un-fun stuff. So if your life isn't fun, should you kill yourself? No, because...

Life is -- it has no purpose. Our role as human beings is to understand it. Each person figures out sometime how they can best contribute to human understanding, and their own understanding. To my way of thinking -- and this is just me -- I've already done the most difficult, interesting and important work I will ever do -- I went from a single cell to a whole person. For the rest of my life, I'm just going to try to figure out what I did. And what I'm doing now -- digesting some food, thinking, typing, sitting -- yes, but -- *how* do I do all that? The one thing you've got is you -- it seems like you ought to know what *you're* doing. Don't you think?

I miss the old days...

 

This is the deepest topic ever. We can't have as much fun if we're going to wonder about questions like these all the time. My plan is to enjoy life as much of possible, and I shall not be disappointed when I hopefully will die at the end.
