[IMG] Is there any cap remover that works? I downloaded one from this site and another from others, but I’m stil in level 40 limit. There is this “safe XPCap remover” but my little understanding of the english language doesn’t allow me to clearly understand what it does.
From the readme file: “They are intended to remove the Throne Of Bhaal experience point cap in a "safe" manner. They cap all levels at 40, for single-class (including dual) and multi-class characters. The reason for the cap remaining at level 40 is that the previous cap remover(s) allowed the character to pass level 40, and no character's ability tables or engine parameters were defined at such high levels, and some would wrap around to level 0 or 1, meaning spells, abilities, etc. would be lost. By holding all levels of single-class and multi-class characters to 40, this problem is avoided”. I’m sorry but I can’t understand what really this thing does, can you progress above level 40? If I am double class, may I reach level 40 in each class? Sorry for my ignorance, like I said, I can’t complete understand english, particularly: “and some would wrap around to level 0 or 1,”.
I know that a character at level 40 is already very powerful but it’s seems not enough powerful when you have Ascencion, Tactics and Redemption mods installed.
I hope someone could explain this (about level limit and all of that) in a more easy way. So, for any repply, I'm thankful.

OK, what that means is that with the other XP cap removers, when you reached level 41, the game would take you back to level 1 instead of going on to level 41. You would become a level 1 character again. What the XP cap remover you installed does is allow any character to reach level 40, including classes that weren't able to reach level 40 before. So now mages can become level 40.

I think that XP cap remover also lets you get to level 40 in each of your classes if you are multi-classed, but I'm not sure.

There is an XP cap remover available at Sorcerer's Place that allows you to go beyond level 40. I think it lets you up to level 50.

    I hope this helped.
