Yaga Shura's Heart

    I can't seem to find the pieces to that fire giants heart or whatever. I got bored of looking and killing instantly spawning out of thin air monsters. Can't really kill his mom, because i need her help. Can anyone suggest a path for me to take? Is it in that dungeon? I'd rather do that later if at all possible. I haven't played the game for a month because I gave up. Help!

    It's in the Fire Giant lair in the mountains. IIRC it was in a chest in his bedroom.

    Hrm, can't really take any other path to kill Yaga Shura unless you retrieve his heart in the marching mountains and give it to his adopted crazy witch mother. He is invincible if you do not to that, so you got no choice. So you have to do that dungeon, and it is in his bedroom like bTA said. Be prepared to fight alot of baddies;)

    [​IMG] baby, I've checked those lairs for hearts already, and all I get is mystically reappearing fire giants. Annoying to say the least. Bedroom? Ain't nothing but a bunch of caverns. Getting frustrated. What am I missing here? The Forgotten Realms environmentalists are on my ass for genocide right now. I keep telling them that fire giants serve no valuable purpose, but it's gone all the way up to the supreme court. Elminster himself is said to be very interested. They're calling it the Fire Giant Hollocaust... sheesh!

    Yaga's Shura's heart is boiling on a brazier in the main hall. You can't miss it. You have to click on it to pick it up.

    The other heart you need is in the center of his mighty bed. (There's a container there.)

    All of this happens in the interior of the Marching Mountains area. This cave you need to enter will be marked on your map. Did you actually manage to get in there yet? (It's on the right side of the map.)

    Because even if you did, the initial cave level is only the half of it. You need to do some stuff before you'll be able to climb the stairs on top to get to the other level, where more Fire Giants await. And the hearts, of course.

    arn't the respawning fire giants outside? IIRC you have to walk over some 'stepping stone' type things to get into his actual lair.

    [​IMG] Fire giants spawn in upper left corner of Marching Mountains map.

    Enter the fire giant lair/hall in the upper right portion of the Marching mountains map (go over the stepping stone bridge that crosses the lava to get to the entrance).

    Once inside, you'll need to gather wardstones from various rooms in order to be able to go up the stairs (all the way in the back, at the top center of the map). The stairs take you to the second indoor level, i.e. the main hall.

    At the back of the main hall is a brazier with Yaga-Shura's heart.

    On the back wall of the main hall are some huge double doors. You'll need fire giant strength to open them (there are potions and a girdle that give you that strength). Through the double doors is the bedroom, and the witch's heart is hidden under the bed.

    Take both hearts to the witch. She'll destroy Yaga-Shura's heart and he will no longer be invicible.
