[IMG] Edit: cancel. I'm having my family send me one of my other copies of Throne of Bhaal (I have like 3 total :p ) so the problem is irrelevant. Have a nice day. ;) Now, what to do in the meantime......

Is the disc simply scratched up? If so, there are numerous products out there that can repair the discs and let them work like new. I know i bought one such product from Walmart a few years ago for my BG1 cds and it fixed them quite nicely.

I had a problem with the data2.cab file as well, turns out the disc was scratched. I used something like a Disc Doctor (dunno what exactly it was) and it worked perfectly afterward.

'fraid those types of things won't work. This particular disc has had this problem in the past, and those methods of "fixing" it didn't suffice. I ended up buying a new copy. Unfortunately, my "good" copy of ToB is at home, around 400 miles from here, and I'm not going home for another month and a half or so. I guess I could buy -another- new copy (hey...$20 is certainly not too much for such an awesome kickass game with so much replayability), but I'd prefer to solve this without having to throw money at the problem
 Thanks for the input, though.
