So there is this Yellow Dragon at watchers keep(believe he comes with the tactics mod) and how in the world can I inflict considerable dammage on him. I tried all the cheap tricks, such as traps, casting magic resistance(couldnt tell if it worked he killed us all so fast). This guy just wont take any dammage! Somebody help.

If the armor made from him indicates anything, the dragon would be highly resistant to slashing and peircing damage.

As far as strategy goes, all I can recommend is keeping your spellcasters back and casting timestop, followed by dragon's fire(if you are at a high enough level) and peirce shield to lower resistance. If you need healing, greater restoration works wonders, especially while the dragon is busy with your summoned devas.

Isn't the dragon likely to be immune to fire attacks like Dragon's Breath (I'm assuming that's what you mean) and as a dragon I'd imagine he's especially resistant to this spell.

I've never actually fought him with a full party - he killed my solo fighter/mage in five seconds flat - but I'd handle him the same way as I do most dragon fights: set up a load of high level snares around him, draw back all but the toughest NPC to a safe distance away from him, summon a Deva or Planetar - then hit him. As soon as he turns hostile, the snares will go off and kill him. If he survives them, hit him with Time Stop then take out his spell protections while he's otherwise unable to stop you, then go at him with Greater Whirlwind Attacks the moment the Time Stop ends.

I have no idea if he's vulnerable to fire, but the key to dragon's breath is the blow-back effect. Keep in mind the numerous henchmen around the dragon. I like to keep pressure on it and it alone.

The snares idea is cheesy, but I love it. The best combination for this type of job is a bunch of spike traps and 1 or 2 time stop traps so you can put in a whirlwinded set of attacks.

How about the tried and true Greater Malison/Lower Resistance/Chromatic Orb combo?

Substitute the Chromatic Orb with Finger of Death (you get a -2 saving throw modifier, as opposed to the +6 modifier from Chromatic Orb) If that doesn't work as well, get a mage to cast Time Stop, then Improved Alacrity (if you had a Sorcerer, it would be much more convenient), then Lower Resistancex3, Greater Malison, Breach, Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wiltingxhow many ever you can,Cometxhow many ever you can. Two rounds later...toasted Dragon!!

You don't need to bother with the other characters either mate, mage's are insanely overpowered in ToB!!

Edit: New GEM!!!! No more ugly Tchazar!!

After a few tries, I realized there is no hiding as he can gate to where your main character is. Except .... :) He cant reach you on the stairs, so I put myself on the stairs and sent all my men out to kill his golems. Than I got a fix on his position which is left of the stairs, he just sits there like a moron trying to gate to me but he cant fit on the stairs so he keeps trying and trying, I am able to rest have my mages memorize death fog and I send them out while keeping my main character on the stairs and cast about 12 death fogs on his location. He died in about 25 seconds. :)

Not in this case. After all, Mr. Yellow does tell you he plans to betray you when you return.

Yeah, I thought how he tells you he'll betray you was pretty funny. But you can't just kill his ass immediately, you've gotta beat the ritual, which is rather difficult.

What immunities does a yellow dragon have?
