Yuan-Ti Ritual -- how often does it happen?

I'm in the Yuan-Ti temple in Chult. I was doing my best to get through it in a non-violent manner this time, but I'd still like to bag the loot in the High Priest's chamber.

How often does the ritual where they all gather in front of the statue happen? Things may be a bit complicated in that I released the heartless dead and they killed at least a couple of yuan-ti. During the last time they held the ritual, the High Priest complained that not everyone was attending and cut it short.

Will they have another one after that?

 

IIRC, looting Ojatha's chamber (or are you talking about the treasure room?) causes Ojatha to become hostile. I've tried it myself, but everytime I do it, the next thing I know is that I'm cornered by dozens of hostile coiled cabals, but of course, this is mainly my own experience. Still, you may want to speak with Ojatha for experience (Jeszrael), then he'll go hostile on you.

About the ritual, IIRC it repeats every ?minute? I think, correct me if I'm wrong. But I guess in your case, it won't continue since others are missing, they may yet again cut the ritual short the next time it begins. But if you really want to get through chult in a non-violent manner, try using the restless dead against them. Place the dessicated hearts in rooms you want to "clean up" and let the undead do their thing. They'll never know what hit them.

Then again, I myself killed every one of their ilk the moment I finished looting the treasure room but I have to say, Ashra killed my whole party the first time...
