It'll be a close thing between England and New Zealand. NZ is the number 3 ranked one day team (how? I don't know) and England is 8th, but really they are the two worst performing teams in world cricket so they should be as bad as each other.

Hopefully Bond will stay fit for the 3 way series. It'll be good to see him having a crack at us and the Aussies. He wasn't fit the last time we played NZ in a series (I believe that one might have ended in a whitewash, can you remember Harbs? :p )

Well, it all starts tonight. The only hope for NZ and England is that Australia get too over-confident given their absolute dominance of both teams in recent years. This Australian team is on a roll and could possibly go 10 from 10 in this series. It's hard to see NZ or England getting close to them, to be honest - but, cricket is a funny game. You never know what might happen.

It's working! The Aussies are getting cocky! The master plan is all falling into place......

They're even cockier than normal because we have so cunningly lead them into a false sense of security. Nice work throwing the Ashes like that to set them up so brilliantly for the all important Commonwealth Bank tri-series. New Zealand v England final coming up!

Hehe, dont thinks so Harbs, especially with KP potentially being sidelined after a nasty hit from Mcgrath. The Poms did manage to get a decent total but it will only take the Aussie top order to rip into them to secure a win :p

Especially with Flintoff bowling all those wides. It's all part of the plan though. NZ might lose the first couple on purpose as well. You're falling for it, big time.

Lewis looks like a complete ponce.
Pity we missed out on the bonus point. I suppose we probably won't need it given our form.
Btw has anyone actually won a 20 20 after batting second? We've had like 12 of the games this season and they've all been won by the team that has batted first.

Wow... I'm psychic. With KP now out of the Pom squad for the rest of the one day games they probably wont stand a chance even against NZ

A very convincing win against the Sheep Sh... Kiwis. Great hat-trick by Bond but it came too late. The middle order and tail have to work something out to prevent a thrashing like that from ever occurring again. Come on, the last 7 wickets fell for 23 runs!!!

It's a bit tough when your batsmen are all rubbish. Our only hope is to bowl people out for under 100.

How good was the fielding - that Clarke run out was magic! Both teams did well in this aspect of the game.

Well, we managed to get all out for 73 last week. We've shown everybody how it is done, now other teams can emulate us.

I support all our team. They're just not very good at the moment. I am very glad that Ross Taylor appears to be responding to the pressure of expectation on him. Still have to wait to see if he can carry on. Lou Vincent, Matthew Sinclair, Hamish Marshall - all those guys looked good when they started out as well and none of them have kicked on to be any better than average.

Big game today. The team that loses today will have a lot of psychological damage to repair.

Brendan McCullum. When will he learn to bat just a little bit sensibly?
