    Classic one:
    - James Bond alike heroes and Rambo alike heroes, when get caught, the evil of the day will explain what he is going to do and even if the good guy is all tied and that bad guy can kill him, ALWAYS will leave the hero with the stupid guards who are so dumbs that let the hero escape. (like mentioned by Austin Powers).

    - Big name actors/actress can take several shots/cuts/burns before they die, they always have the time to explain the whole plot of the movie or what's going to happen but almost everytime they can't tell who's the bad guy; but secondary actors/actress will die almost instantly. Take Matrix's example: Trinity died after 25 minutes talk with Neo after her body being crossed by 12 iron bars, while the nurse who helped Agent Smith minutes before, died in 3 seconds after being hit with a 3 cm... scalpel.

    Aye, the murdering pyscho never dies... you have to shoot him, burn him, drown him, hang him, grenade him, chop off most apendages, AND stab him multiple times. That is the only way to kill a murderer...

    The bad guy and the hero fight hand to hand, the baddie gets beaten badly enough to kill him multiple times in real life, then *finally* that small cut on his temple hurts so much he can't fight back anymore, BUT of course at that point he makes a dash for a gun, but the hero is faster and shoots him first - and whaddayaknow, instant death.

    No policemen ever die in car crashes, despite police cars being involved in the most spectacular crashes (usually into each other) whenever the car they are chasing inevitably escapes.
