I came across a discussion comparing the customisable models in NWN to those in Dungeon Seige. The good folks at Bioware said they had to sacrifice things like boots, gauntlets etc. showing up on the model because of how many models they had compared to Dungeon Siege's 2 (Male and Female). Now, I got to thinking about just how many models there would be in NWN - 7 races (human, elf, dwarf, gnome, halfling, half-elf and half-orc), three builds (skinny, muscular and fat) and both sexes. That gives 7*3*2 = 42 different models, assuming they don't for example use the same model for male dwarves and female dwarves.

[Did you miss the forum or something? What's this got to do with the topic? And there are only two body types now. Normal and fat.] -Tal
[reply to edit - at the time I thought of it as another (faintly) amusing occurence of the number 42]

The photo of the bus on my bus-chart has number "42" on the window

Of a few hundred boxes in a mall I noticed I had almost always used the box with key number "42" attached when I shopped. Probably posps up even more often unnoticed.
