This game is designed to connect MOVIE stars. Not every two-bit wannabee that has had a small part as a stuntman (or any other bit part) in a television series. Please post a person that has MOVIE experience.

 

I'm so sorry no one else saw Strange Hearts, which was quite good, btw. You might want to add T2Bruno's complaint to the rules list, DR, and be specific on what is 'movie experience' (ie: starring roles in 3 films, top credit in 3 films, etc.).

Let's see, no one who can be called a 'two-bit actor/ess' and was not a 'stuntman' on television...

I humbly apologize -- I did not realize he was in a movie. The game could get ridiculous with including people who played one bit part in a small audience movie (I lived in Hollywood and had several friends who were uncredited extras in movies).

I thought the object of the game was fun, not obscurity.

And yes, that one was rather hard and obscure. But this tends to happen when this game drags on. So though I wouldn't say this game is dead, it probably has ascending bowel cancer and may not last much longer. I'd like to keep it going as long as possible, however - it be fun.

Perhaps a modification of the rules would help the game. I would suggest allowing the winner to exclude a movie from the choices for the next round. This way more popular actors could be used instead of trying to find the most obscure actor possible to make the game challenging.

DR: I suggested the exclusion of a movie so it would be fun again. The use should be restricted to mainstream actors/actresses that everyone recognizes and can name a few movies they were in. Alice Cooper is not mainstream and would be a reasonable challenge without an exclusion -- picking obscure actors/performers and adding exclusions just makes the game not very interesting.
