    If it tastes good, eat it. It doesn't matter what's in it, as long as it doesn't harm you. Try haggis!

    (Haggis is, for those that don't know, a sheep's heart, liver and lungs minced and boiled in its stomach. It's very nice.)

    on iceland they have a giant feast where they eat whales that has been layed out to rot for 3 months or so.

    The onlythings I don't eat are Brown breads since they make me sick, ketchup I just hate it and stuff like Branston Pickle. My rule on food ahs always been try it twice to confirm your first opinion.

    At least the food that is being mentioned in this thread is 'natural'. I'd rather eat sheep's gut and bee vomit than the radioactive chemistry lab that goes into most of today's moden processed factory food (like a lot of commercial baking, desserts, and convenience meals).

    I think it would be very educating if people really knew what they were eating...while they were eating!

    ...now how would that work, if you'd make a steakhouse with videoscreens showing the different stages of meatprocessing :bad: ?

    @Ichor

    I'm eating while reading this, and it goes just fine... I don't care WHERE the stuff comes from if only it tastes good.

    In the end, it ain't more than what we make of it. vomit or secretes, who cares? If you do, then it's only because people before you did, and taught you how to; - care that is...

    @ Olimikrig

    Reading this stuff doesn't make me feel ill either, even if I'd be eating...

    But I'd imagine it would be something like watching those tv-shows with autopsies, like CSI, while you're eating. Somehow this happens to me on a weekly basis. Doesn't stop me eating, but boy...does it ever turn the stomach, at least a little bit.
