    Being thought of as naive and childish by the side of political spectrum that supports the war on Iraq and is convinced this folly is a good idea doesnt phaze me too much. Nor does anything else they proclaim. Wasnt it said and believed by the right wing the 'liberating' troops will be greeted in Baghdad by people wearing flowers in their hear while waving U.S. flags? That the iraqis would willingly embrace the amercian interpretation of freedom and democracy forced on them? :xx: Somehow I think its remarkable that the very same people accuse others of delusions. :p
    If thats an example of the expertise of that political branch... oh well.

    H.S. - boy, you really are conservative; and here I thought it was all just a put-on. :p

    I'd like to address your third paragragh, and especially its last part:
    I guess that might be one of the big differences between liberals and conservatives.

    Conservatives tend to resist and even fear change, while liberals embrace it. What seemed unthinkable before is now normal - the end to slavery, women's right to vote, etc. And if, in the end, these changes that you fear so much "feel normal and acceptable", then has there actually been any harm done? Or is it just a sign of the human race's ability to initiate and adapt to change?
