Been meaning to do a search for this thread, so here are my results (forgive my ignorance of names, I just like what they look like :p ):

    Missile thing
    Israeli Merkava Mk 4
    Deploying Para geezers
    Anti-Aircraft Patriot Missile (I think)
    Helicopter deploying 105mm light gun
    Artillery piece
    That looks bad!
    Missile of some description
    Submarine Sunset (beautiful)
I don't know what this is, but it looks cool!
    Vehicle mounted rocket in action

and I leave you with a photo that is possibly the best excuse for speeding ever! :D

    Speeding

I couldn't have said it any better myself! :D :thumb:

Well, from the first 3 pictures, I'd say it was a fragmentation bomb, but then the sucker turns in to a ball of fire, so I'm not quite sure WTF it is. If you could find your way back to the original site where you found it, they might have a short description. :rolling:

I haven't posted any pictures because I wouldn't have a clue where to look for a picture of a blowy-up thing blowing up. The one where the missile thing has just come out of the army man's gun is pretty cool action photography, though.

Doing a google-image search is how I do it. The picture you're referring to with the missile was found by doing an image search for 'Stinger anti-aircraft missile'.

HB, start small...do a search for "missile", and once you find a good looking one, you'll be taken to a site that usually has a name for it. Take that name and do another google image search for that name.

And if you're really clueless, How Stuff Works has a nice sized collection of military articles that give you nice pictures, and an in-depth look at whatever you're looking at. I did a search for 'Stinger missiles' on HSW, and I learned a lot. :thumb: :rolling:

OK then, although knowing my luck, it will already have been posted (I haven't looked at every picture in this thread):

Some sort of missile in mid-air

    Nice one Harby! :thumb:

A little on the large side though...but still good! If the camera whould have waited about one or two seconds later to capture the engine ignition, that would have been *realy* cool! :rolling:

That's your standard issue military glasses...but other than that, yes he does.

DM, when I saw that you posted here, I half-expected to see that you had linked to a picture of a mushroom-cloud explosion... :shake: :rolling:
