    While we're on the subject of wild ideas, hey, why don't you give the personell on board guns with tranqulizer darts? If it's enough to knock out an elephant, it's bound to bring a nasty terrorist down too. :evil:

    Or posion darts? :lol:

    Boomerangs maybe? :grin:

    Come on peple, be realistic. No way is anything like gas ever going to be implemented. You simply can't have anything that would directly effect & incapacitate all passengers on board. No one would want to fly in a plane that could knock you out all by itself.

    [​IMG] Actually, I had wondered why not tranquilizer guns. The primary trouble with regular weapons is the worry over sudden depressurization of the plane. Tranquilizer guns would not cause that problem, and there are tranquilizers that act quickly enough to subdue terrorists before they can accomplish their evil deeds.

    Gas of course was not so great. Besides the other problems, you would need a completely separate ventilation system for the cabin of the airplane.
