    Gah, a horrid, horrid question!

I think I'd reserve ringside seats to that Morgoth/Fingolfin duel with Aik. :D

I am also torn between Rivendell, Gondolin and the Host of Maedhros.

    Gah, so hard to choose!

No matter what, it WOULD involve Elves.

The shire to get some nice hobbit herb and to drink hobbit beer! woo-hoo! I would be a hobbit named Eldon Greenhill far cousins from the Prounfeet, but at first Greenhill didn't live in the shire but in the more western part. I think I'll be a turnip seller! :D

I'd go to Isengard before Saruman got corrupted by Sauron and I'd make sure Saruman remains a force of Good. That should make that war a lot easier...
And maybe he can learn me some of that funky magic stuff :D

I'd go to the shire... loving the idea of sitting around all day, doing nothing, smoking pipeweed and drinking beer.

[IMG] So hard to choose... Valinor, Gondolin, Rivendell, Shire, Fangorn, Khazad-dum... but I think that I'd choose Lothlorien.

If you were after Arwen, go before Aragorn was born.

I would have to hang around Khim and Mim, before Beleg kills Khim, and if that was not possible then I would go and live with the dwarves at the height of the glory and power in either Erebor or Khazad-dum, but probably the latter.

Beleg didn't kill Khim. One of Turin's bandit henchmen did. Mim resented Beleg's presence just for being an elf.

    Back on topic:

Doriath, or Lothlorien, both make for an ideal elven paradise to live in.

You know what's the bad thing about say, going after Elrond before Celebrian appears? You deprieve Middle-Earth of other wonderful persons, such as Elladan and Elrohir! (Okay, and Arwen...) In case of going after Arwen, there'sd be no Eldarion. :(

Just go after one of her daughters. We never learn how many of those theere were... :p

*sigh* The wonderful progency prevents me from doing one of the things I'd love to do, that is, getting Idril and Maeglin together. *nods* That'd mean no Earendil, and no Elrond, Elors, Aragorn, Arwen.... huge bunch of people.

    Hmmmm, tough one.

I guess I'd join Shura in his quest for completely destroying Middle Earth  As long as I get the chance to kill some elves, it's fine by me. After that, who knows? There are more worlds where Middle Earth came from :D

I'd be content as first officer, Shura, so if there's an opening, just PM me :D

I never thought I would see the day when Khazraj was shown up in LoTR

Back on topic, the final battle at the gate, when the Eagles arrive. That would be the grouse.
