    I'm like Nakia.

    And also like Takara.

On the other hand, I have been to social events rather far above my obvious station, due to some interesting friends who include me, and come away vastly amused at those who "cut" me when they find out who I am, what I do, and how little money I have.

Snobs can be hilariously funny, and that includes me, when I'm blindly assuming my own superiority. I have fallen flat on my face many times thinking how much smarter, better educated, blah blah blah I am. I remember the time I thought a mud spattered, overalled, grimy guy I met was just some construction worker and he turned out to be a PhD in geology working on a gas well nearby.

So, yeah, I'm a snob, and how silly I can be when that takes me over.

I'm not a snob, I don't want to be, I try not look down at people and I tend to succeed. I'm just picky about some things and there's a number of things I consider to be poor style.
