    That's quite cool, and IMHO not cheesy at all, since it doesn't violate suspension of disbelief. How is the golem going to teleport people it doesn't know about?

    But I hate the UI for choosing squares so much I will probably continue to skip w/ the mod.

    Well, I finished the battle squares again in my second go around. The whole thing took me 5 hours to complete and that's playing in the very easy mode. My next go around, I'm seriously considering using the patch.

    I'm wondering if anyone actually enjoyed the battle squares. I did have the feeling of satisfaction the first time around. The second time didn't seem quite as satisfying.

    That describes it quite well, Stuntman. The first time you complete it, there's a sense of satisfaction. But after that point, 250 solo battles is just too damned tedious.
