    First, I would like to apologize for my postings in this thread. They were off topic and I was wrong to post them. The only mitigating circumstance I can offer is that I sent them before seeing the moderator's warning. Sorry.

    On topic, I would just like to say that Benedict XVI is not too bad. He is very liberal, but given that his main competitor was Cardinal Martini (who cannot be called "Catholic" while keeping a straight face), I can safely say that he is the lesser of the two evils.
