Well yeah, I do see what's funny but it's just that I'm not a noob basher, so would that make me a noob?

I'm feeling guilty for starting this whole thing off. When I posted, I had kind of assumed Drasskull's post was an April Fools joke (and I still hold out hope that it was just that :) ). I never really expected the topic to turn into a "newbie-bashing" one, though; at worst, I thought it might become another "cheese tactics are evil" thread.

So, my apologies to Drasskull for getting this whole ball rolling.

If you read some earlier 'noob basher' topics you'd see that I'm don't mock people very often. I find this funny because of the way its presented. But I don't find it overly funny that I'm in hysterical laughter. But ok, sorry Drasskull. I hope it was an April fools.

    :EDIT:

hehj, you seem to have had the same idea as me Splunge

It probably *is* a little cruel but I think Drasskull brought it on himself. If a game's been out for five years and he thinks he's discovered some amazing flaw in the game design that no one else has EVER DISCOVERED and he makes such a big deal out of it, he's really setting himself up for a noob bashing.

If I discovered something like this that I was sure no one else knew about, I'd probably start a thread along the lines of: "well, I've not been playing this game long but I've just come across this really wicked thing. Has anyone else come across it...?" And if no one else had, *then* I'd announce it to the world at large.

Ah, yes; the typical "he did it, not me" reasoning, soon followed by "how it really should had been done." Learn some tolerance.
