I bought all those games second hand on internet auction sites within the last 12 months so it should be possible to track down.

Oh, then I must just be blind cause I looked for several weeks on every larger site. You *cannot* get your hands on them new unless something have changed since two months ago when I was scouring the web for a copy. Many retailers said they had it but when ordered it was not there. The only way to get it new is to be lucky and find somewhere who have old unsold copies laying about.

@Joacqin: I dunno about buying online, but there's shelves upon shelves of the Baldurs Gate trilogy boxed set in all major music stores. In Bangalore. In India. :p

Ummmmmmm, I went onto Ebay,(where my friend bought his) and looked up ToTSC and there were several entries for around $10-$11 each. Several Throne of Bhaal. but that is all I searched for. So they are out there Harbourboy.

In that case, if you want new copies, I have seen some trilogy sets at some local game stores. Individual copies are pretty hard to find. But the majority of "used" copies on Ebay are in very good condition and alot of them have rankings for the seller. Just to make sure they are not sending you Huggley Magic Sleep Over instead of BGII

Aaargh, I went to go and check out the Harpers to find that silly Montaron but somehow Jaheira has been cursed by some drunk in a salty bar! Now we're sidetracked into finding a cure for her.

We've picked up Anomen now as well to help out with this quest because Jaheira is fading fast (um, maybe we shouldn't have rested as often.......). Plus we left Aerie behind in the Copper Coronet because she seemed a bit too fragile for our liking (keeping Nalia out of harm's way is enough work). And Minsc has now decided to dual-wield hammers after ending up with two magical ones in his inventory.

Your moving along quite nicely, finding the cure is not that hard, you just gotta ask around. I never took Anomen I just stayed with the frail Aerie. Let me know how he works out in your party.

You better cure Jaheira fast, unless you want to get chewed out by Beren. :p

Righto, Jaheira is now cured. But now she has vanished! She's run off to some Harper Hold (wherever that is). I wonder if I should bother trying to find her, or whether we should just carry on without her (only three of us left now - Arya, Anomen, and Nalia....maybe I should go back to the Copper Coronet and ask Minsc to rejoin us....)

Agreed Habourboy, take your time, enjoy the game... It's brilliant, and the choices only make it more so. Good luck... ;)

Harper Hold is that place where you took the dead body, BTW, in the bottom left of the docks. I think it's marked Galvarey Estate.

Gah. The hardest part of this game is sorting out your NPCs. Every time I get a new NPC, it feels like I am wasting all the XP earned by the old NPCs. That puts Minsc and Jaheira at a huge advantage to the others because they can get more XP from being there longer.

Currently my party is Arya, Anomen, Jan, and Viconia. But those three have only half the XP of Arya. If I go back to the Copper Coronet and get Minsc back he'll have way more XP than these new guys. Plus, when I get Viconia I lost 2 reputation points so now I'm back to 10 points. I've done loads of quests. I wonder what spectacular deeds I'll have to perform in order to get any more reputation points.

Now I have a choice of:
    a) investigating the bridge murders
    b) finding what Jaheira is up to in the Harper Hold
    c) sorting out ogres at Windspear
    d) helping the village at Umar
    e) seeing what is going on back at my castle
    f) dealing with some wizard in the docks for that government guy
    g) wandering around aimlessly looking for cash
    h) going back to that thief guy with my 20,000 to get more info on Imoen
    i) meeting the mysterious lady in the graveyard

So many choices, it's all too much!

a- make sure you have a thief. This quest doesnt end in the bridge district itself. Not a very tough fight.
b- Another not so tough fight. Better do this one.
c- the one you got from the Lord in the Copper Coronet? Loong one. Take it up later.
d- damned easy if you are at lower levels.
e- not unless you got a '500GP deposited in your castle' message.
f- do this and it will take you to Umar.
    g-
    h- get the IMoD first.
i- try it out. The deal never went for me though, specially if you want to keep your good people happy.

As far as your reputation is concerned:
Did you do the quest in the Temple district?
Try wandering around in the Bridge district entering doors, you might get lucky.

Just dont open random doors anywhere without detecting traps, lethalmegatraps can be present on the most innocent looking door.

That's the great thing about BG2, there's so many different things to do all at once!

My advice is, if you get started on a quest, try not to get sidetrack into others until you're through. If you're given a new quest on the way, leave it aside until you're done with the first. That minimizes the chances of getting mixed up in the "now which quest I'm working on?" syndrome (happened to me the first time I played)

Well you can always look in your journal. Since quests are separated into done or remaining.
I had hoped they would implement it in IWD II.

Here is the order I suggest you do them in:
    a) = #1
    b) = #2
    c) #5
    d) #4
    e) Do in between quests
    f) #3 - this can be done along with #4.
    g) do this as you're going from one quest to another
    h) do this when someone approches you about it
    i) do this before h...if you are going to do it at all :rolling:
