    @Deaphon

Both are included, I am playing through with a sorcerer now and I even can have a familiar (although I didn't see the need to waste a slot for it), all new spells are included which is really nice.

Great stuff so far and very little difference although sometimes I feel monsters are dropping a bit more treasures. I've got level two spell scrolls from gibberlings.

[IMG] Familars are awesome, a Dust Mephit causes chaos I tell you. If you play a mage or sorc, I really advise you to get a familiar. I tried it out with a CN Wild Mage (with a Cat familiar), and the Cat alone killed 10-12 Gibberlings til I got to the FAI.

[IMG] This mod is great. Only problem was length of installation. Installing the mod itself didn't take long... but BG1 + TotSC + BG2 + ToB takes.

Familiars are nice (+12 hit points is very nice bonus for a weak mage), although there's a bug in them (at least with pseudo dragon): you can't let it go.

Random creatures can be fiendish: I got 3 dire wolves against my 1st level wild mage next to Candlekeep. Thanks for Imoen and her bow, that I won them. :)

This is cool. As I have the option of playing BG2 only in French (blergh) and BG in English, I can play BG, whats kinda cool. *goes to dig up the game*

What about the thieves? Do they have all the abilities? I mean lay traps, and detect illusion... How is this solved?

And how is the XP counted? In BG2 the simple monsters worth more...

Yep, thieves have all same abilities as in BG2 (and they get 25 points per lvel).

From monsters you get the same amount of experience as in BG1. But you also get experience from scribing scrolls (100 exp x spell level), opening locks (100 exp) and disarming traps (24 exp)

edit: I checked the experience from traps. It was 24, not 300

Does the unlock and trap detection xp increase with level? I thought that the whole thing was utterly brilliant. I did not touch BG1 for years and now I have a reason to rip it out and play again. I love all the small improvements over the original game style. Especially the "I can damnwell pause on the inventory screen" option.

Well done, and it is so fun. I thoroughly recommend that you download and enjoy.

As an aside, I found the install info slightly confusing, but then I am dumb. I kept on trying to run the program in BG1 rather than 2. How silly...

No, it must be a full install of BG1 for Tutu to work.

How about if you have the flirt pack installed on BG2? And how about the Anti-Dungeon MOD? Or other MODs?

I tried to make a monk and it sort of didn't work. I ended up with -4 hp and still not dying, talk about undead!

Anyway I used SK and then put it up to normal and within seconds of reloading it dropped to -4 and still didn't die, just walked around as usual.

So, dunno why monks won't work, but perhaps its hardcoded or something...

Remember, it is only at its third beta. However, when you look at the WeiDU Super Friends team that is supporting it, it's not going to take them too long to fix bugs.

Misinformation rules. Although not allowing you to play BG2 will certainly help on the compatibility front.

You won't be able to use the mods, but they can still be installed without causing problems. Guess we have different definitions of compatible.

[IMG] Yep. I got it to work and it looks notably better than the old BG-1. And my lvl-1 cavalier (two handed weapon style + two handed sword) has just picked up Imoen, amd who knows, maybe he'll bet one inquisitor Ajantis or an archer named Kivan on his travels?

(If Weimer's to be IWG-2 works as well, I'm looking very much forward to play a Paladin of Helm and a rogue-ranger there ...)
