You guys must be SOOOOO young... No way is Jaheira under 35- I'd vote for Susan Sarandon. Viconia can be slightly younger but still not a kid- let's try Tia Carrere. Patrick Stewart for Irenicus, NO question. And William Shatner for Anomen... no one else is annoying enough! Renee Zellewiger for Imoen. Kirsten Dunst for Aerie. Lisa Nicole Carson for Mazzy... but she'll have to be electronically halved. Willem Dafoe for Aran Linvail.

[IMG] Tom Hanks for the main character, he's got the right 'what's going on?' expression.
Ali MacBeale as Aerie, Brad Pitt as Anoumen, Danny deVito as Jan and Sean Connery as Keldorn complete my line up.

[IMG] Huh... Wa... Oh yeah who i think would be good in the movie *giggle*

    Lets see now,

i must agree with Erran on two of them, Keldorn:Sean Connery and Anomen: Brad Pitt.
For lead character I would say Keanu Reeves for a male.

I stand by my previous nominations of Zhang Ziyi to play a female monk  , that guy from Stargate who plays Te'alc to play Sarevok, Hugh Grant to play Saemon Havarian and Gary Oldman as Edwin. Jean Reno would make a good (albeit french) Kivan for a BG1 bit at the start and Alyson Hannigan is Imoen; no doubt about that. Denzel Washington could make a pretty smooth Valygar. FInally, I think, in a departure from his recent wizardly exploits, Ian McKellen would make a decent Keldorn.

  8. my opinion is that:a holy paladin who has problems with her dark side.

    Earth calling Erran..Earth calling Erran...

Ok, more casting ideas: Alicia Silverstone for Imoen, Cary Elwes or for the dashing, struggling paladin lead, the aging yet still delicious Val Kilmer as Keldorn. Cary Elwes got me thinking about The Princess Bride, and that made me think about the guy who played Vizzini, the "inconthievable" guy. He'd make a good Jan.

Oh yeah, I need to agree with Sprite about Patrick Stewart, Kirsten Dunst, and Dafoe, all great choices.

but what about the plot and storyline what sugestions do you ppl have?

and the guy who acts as te'alc from stargate's (however you spell it) acting is horrible theres no way in a million years he'd do the role of sarevok justice unless he's a much better actor since sg (stargate).

[IMG] "Hugh Grant to play Saemon Havarian "

Surely you jest. He looks (and sounds - oh gods especially sounds) completely wrong for the part. How about Bruce Campbell instead?

I suggested Hugh Grant for Saemon Havarian because they're both foppy ponces, and theres nothing to say he has to be antipodean in the film. It was Mr Grant's more forthcoming roles that convinced me of this rather than his weedy, stuttery ones.

How about that guy who played Jimmy Olsen in The New Adventures of Superman and the lead role in the D&D movie for Noober/Neeber? I'd love to see someone brutally slay that little shit.
