[IMG] Getting back to an open-ice game would be great - but so hard to do. Next to the Montreal-Toronto rivalry, the Edmonton-Calgary (battle of Alberta) rivalry during the 80's and early 90's had some of my all-time favourite games. I'd love to see more NHL teams go back to that aggressive, open-ice, offensive game again. (And what a team those Oilers were!)

But I wouldn't want to see the NHL turn into Internal hockey. The smaller rink size is just so much more intense - a physical element that you don't see in International play. Adding more space behind the net was good - and more 4-on-4 play like there used to be is good too. Maybe getting rid of the two-line off-side pass would help a bit more...(hmmm, slightly off topic ;) ).

BTW - The Canadian women's team just beat the US 3-2 to win the gold! Great game, very competitive - except for the enormous number of penalties
