    [​IMG] It's such time of year... No (widely interesting) new games have been released, BG2 is getting old, ToB as well. No new games in sight till NWN, which could come in a few months or middle of next year, who knows.

    Unless one of these days Icewind Dale 2 is announced... That would spur things up a bit.

    There's also the fact that school has started for most people already, or jobs for those that are done with it...

    In my case, Arcanum is new Tal. And I'm in love.

    With Arcanum, of course. So that really IS the point why I'm not here so often these past few days... There is NO Arcanum forum!!! :p :p

    This year was really good up until I lost my job do to cutbacks, and my hubby cracked his knee out of joint.

    Now, winter is upon us. I am doing the work of two people, school sucks because of a dumb teacher and too much group work, and I might not be going on my trip to Scottland that was planned as my graduation present. :(
    Then a lot of people died and we lost some historic buildings and I have friends and family being called to war. :(

    That about sums up my gripes. I am really praying that next year, things will be brighter. :)

    I came home a little late last night and was supposed to go to a lecture at 8:00, so I didn't bother to go to bed. Just sat up the whole night. But when I came down there, there were nobody there. Great! No lecture today, and I'm the only one who missed that info. Oh, and I have lousy download speeds too.

    Why be so dreary? By the way, it snowed in New York yesterday.

    In any case, there are a couple "new" games that are out...several of them are quite good:

    1. Max Payne - Awesome game with (honestly) the most incredible gun-slinging graphics I have ever seen. You can use bullet time (like in the matrix) and although you travel at the same speed as your opponents, it gives you more time to aim, dodge, etc. Also, you can SEE the bullets exiting the barrel of your gun. Flocking awesome.

    2. Black Thorn (hee hee, not TA) will be released tomorrow. It's a Rogue Spear add-on, and it looks amazing. There are also a lot of new weapons, etc. And for those of you who have Rogue Spear and want more weapons and uniforms, do a search for BSW Smurf Mod on google.com. Automatic grenade launcher!!!

    Hehe... My teacher in Norwegian lives 1 1/2 hour away from school to. She travels that distance by train every day (fun when she has to be at school 8:20 am :)). No wonder she is kind of weird.
