Brooks vs Jordan

    My simple mind enjoys simple books for the moments when thinking hurts. Brooks' fewer characters are a godsend when im reading late at night. Besides, ive noticed that, while Jordans books have become tedious and cumbersome, Brooks' have been steadily improving. The Isle Witch triligy wasnt half bad, which is more than I can say for Crossroads of Twilight...

    I have to agree with joacqin. It almost feels like Robert Jordan did die,and someone else has been writing the series since around book 6. They are trying to write in his style, using a large cast of characters and multiple story lines, but lack the talent to make it work.

    It's dissapointing that the series has turned into such a mess. I really hope Jordan truly lost his focus, and that money wasn't a behind the series collapse. It would be a real shame if Jordan is trying to drag out the plot into as many books as possible for fiscal reasons.
