changing alignments

    I´m playing through ToB now with a good party and I want to change Sarevok´s alignment. But I think I have made a mistake.

    First of all I did not make him swear an oath. After that there has been two dialogues with him, in the first one I told him I didn´t fear him and that everyone deserves a second chance. I assume this was a good choice to reply with?

    But in the next one I said he was his own person and I would let him go after the quest was done. Now I wonder if it was a good choice to reply with, or should I have been more strict?

    does it really matter? i don't think its possible for him to leave, or is it?

    ive had 20 rep for the whole of ToB and he's never complained in dialogue he just says that "we aren't compatible or sumthing" occasionally

    I know he won´t leave during ToB even if you have high reputation, but I still want to make him change alignment. I´m a bit curious of what happens if he does. Besides, I can´t use spells like holy smite because if I do it will hurt him too.
