I´m totally agreed with you,Marceror, but I´m on the opposite side of the street:
I don´t like druids AT ALL.
But you and me are WAY different kind of people/player/human (thanks God for the variety) and we will NEVER agreed about everything.
That´s call free will(I think) and it´s based on RESPECT(that´s for anybody who still doesn´t know), like every human interaction should be.
Don´t get me wrong, I´m not preaching a particular person, I think discussion(in a good way) is the best way to find solutions.Sadly, this is only an exchange of oppinions.

Druids can kick more ass than any other class if you play them right. You simply have to make the best use out of their spells and spell combinations. Playing PnP D&D and NwN taught me a LOT about druids and how to use them, so I have the advantage of being very familiar in the prospect.

I'll tell you one thing, Rogue/Druid is an awesome character for soloing, truly.

I think Druids are quite useful in IWD2. Stoneskin, Barkskin, Static Charge, Chain Lightning, and Tremor are all cool spells, whilst the improved wildshapes in the Ease of Use mod are great fun.

I like druids. I use the wildshapes to boost my str to 32 and then open crates that no one else manages to open :) , I dont have a rouge in that party. Especially the crates in dragons eye with rope in them. Just couldnt smash them open or lockpick, until my druid stepped in. This is in addition to all the other stuff that has allready been said about them of course :)
