No problem, I enjoy scaring newbie players a lot! But ofcourse, do not let this fact discourage you, prove that you can do it! Improved Sendai will be waiting for you when you are ready for her! In the future...

For chanigng avatars, use Shadow Keeper as Kitrax kindly suggested. You can change your looks to anything in the game:from a harlot, to a Demi-lich! Ofcourse, you will not have a paperdoll for most of these forms, unfourtunately. (paperdoll is the thing in inventory screen, avatar is what you see in game screen.) And some avatars may not work well. (if you choose a huge dragon avatar, you will be stucked in tight places of the game often. Also, more than likely your game will crash.)

 

It will take much more than your description to scare me Silverstar Lets just say that I know my limits when I see them, yes? But would you be so nice to give me download link, so I can archive the mod for the future, when I will be ready for her

But, somewhere in the future, I will try improved Sendai, and I will beat her! One way or the other Off course on core rules, insane is just too much for me.

About the avatars: I like the one the monk has very much. I think it looks very cool when you are fighting armoured bandidts with big swords, and there you are, with no armour, no weapons, and in the end you win Oh, the sweet irony. Besides, I think that monks in Candlekeep are non traveling monks(for the lack of better word). Your character travels and fights a lot, those robes would just be in his way. But if that is your wish, than by all means, change the avatar.

besides if thats what bothers you just make it a shaolin monk suit instead and you ll be comfortable enough to practice your bonebreaking techniques

 

The rest of the Oversight mod is good, it is just Improved Sendai that is a bit too much. Oversight also corrects Alignments which is very useful if playing a Paladin. There are several other tweaks- the readme will give you more information.

No, I'm not a fan of Star wars series, so you'll excuse me if I say that I never had that pleasure

 

A problem with changing the Monk's avatar:

The Monk avatar is specially designed to have the martial art animations, so if you change it, your PC wil fight using an invisible two-handed weapon. Which looks mighty silly.

I've never tried the Oversight HLAs, but they look mighty overpowered in some respects.

 

Some are perhaps slightly over-powered, a monk witht them is more powerful than a standard one. The Refinements mod also have a changed table you could use, though it is recommended that you install the changes to everyone's, rather than just one classes. While similar to the Oversight ones, they seem a bit less powerful.

 

irenicus moves and stance would fit the monk most perfectly
