Hmm...probably the 1300's in Western Europe for me. :thumb: I'd need a couple of guns and an endless supply of ammo to keep the locals from capturing me and accusing me of being a witch or a hieratic against the church. :rolling:

The rule of Augustus Caesar 31 BC - 14 AD. The Pax Romana.

One of my favorite battles: Zama, 202 BC: Scipio Africanus defeats Hannibal on the steps of Carthage.

Ancient Greece, no doubt about it. Ever careful about not being captured by the Spartans... whilst joining the bliss that was the religion of Dionysos. Definitely my choice of time.

Kievan Rus. Pre-Christian period would be awesome. Would not mind be joining Svyatoslav Igorevitch hosts to crush the Khazars.
    Fighting alongside Saint Alexander Nevsky.
    Fighting alonside Saint Dmitry Donskoi.
    Slavic liberation of the Balkans.
To be born a Spartan back then would be amazing as well.
I also enjoy WWII - Eastern Front - a lot.

How did I know? :shake: I saw last post by Svyatoslav and I knew it would be Kiev. :shake:

BTW, I had some ancestors there but before the time you are describing. :) Erm, waitasec. Already in the Christian period but before Alexander Nevsky. But that legend is probably gibberish. ;)

Current or maybe the next one; I like my comforts and, for example, during the greek era pretty much everything was about survival for the large majority of people. Either you were a slave, commoner, or a wealthy noble, and two out of three worked their arse off every single day during the miserable life.

So yea; I wouldn't change the current wealth and wellbeing for anything. ;)

It would have been great to witness the birth and golden age of thrash. So early to mid eighties around the Bay Area.

Unless we're talking about really short strolls, nothing predating water closets for me.

    Thanks for the spelling, Barmy.
To the rest, I kind of think he meant what time interests you, not when would you like to live. Of course this is fun, too.
