    Demogorgon has an immunity to the effects of the Deathbringer assault in his items... perhaps it is not implemented correctly, as it is a bit of a file hack.

    Remind me what "The Answerer" is again and where you get it. I assume it's a weapon, but I don't think I've ever seen it.

    The Answerer is a +4 Long Sword.

    You acquire it in that big fight (maybe at the Oasis? I think that's it). The commander has it on him right at the beginning of the map. It's that rectangular map where you are assaulted by a few dozen pikemen, archers, etc. The fight isn't that hard. I forget all of the abilities, but I think a side affect of the weapon is that it either penalizes your opponents armor class with every hit, or penalizes your opponents THAC0 with every hit. I don't remember which.

    EDIT: Thanks Xei (below) I couldn't remember the General's name, and it was bugging me.

    Answerer is a +4 long sword that takes away 10 MR and 2 AC with each hit. And it is aquired from General Jamis Tombelthen in the Oasis, yes.

    He's immune to any slay effects, which includes everything from vorpal hits to death spells.

    [​IMG] The easiest method of taking down the Demogorgan is to release Boo the minature giant space hamster. Demogorgon would jump on your sword before taking on Boo the mighty one . :D
