What makes you think that Modrons (not rougue ones) are not resistant to magic? They are automations for god's sake!

Ok Ex, I'll bite, the one time I fought the Transcendant One mano a mano, I found myself going back to the rune of torment over and over again. I used it like crazy, is there any limit to the number of time you can hit that guy with it?

Also, I guess nobody liked Abyssal Fury as much as me. I realize that with all of his resistances it doesn't do a spectacular amount of damage to the Transcendant One, but its gratifying to see the ground split open and that big demonic arm come up and beat the jerk sensless.

[IMG] Am i the only person who found fighting the transcendent one fairly easy? As a mage at Level 22 (thank you God for the bronze sphere) I had four level nine spells, along with multiple lower level ones. I fought the transcendent one just to see thespeel animations and, boy are they worth it! Is there any game that has better? Oh, and why does nobody mention that great spell Desert Hell? (Hey I'm a poet and I didn't even know it)
