American comes over, after being kicked out of uni, goes to London where his sister's fella happens to be the main lad back in the day

It's Codsh1t, and the accents bar the actual cockneys in the film - are laughable. "Fackin ell gavna let's go darn the apple n pairs and have a cup o rosey" as if anyone in London has EVER talked like that.

    Utter Tosh!

One of the pubs in town amazingly still has two posters up advertizing Green street in the toilets, one has had a rather accurate review of the film written on it luckily I took a pic on my phone:

It fits perfect in the line of Hollywoord BS movies, as there are "the last samurai" starring Tom Cruise, and "the Mexican", starring Brad Pitt. To use Negrodamus' words from the Dave Chappelle show..."now we eagerly await the release of "the last nigger on the planet", starring Tom Hanks. :shake:

They were right about one thing though...there IS a deadly rivalry going on between West Ham and Millwall, one that goes way beyond football.

And just yesterday, hooligans ran into the stadium of Djurgården against Hammarby and shot fireworks at the crowds. Hooliganism is coming back, that's for sure.

Coming back ? it's never been away in the first place. It's just a matter of how much attention the press wants to give it. Every once in a while i suspect the press from giving it extra attention, because they know when it's in the spotlights, the hooligans are going to put in an extra effort. The best way to deal with hooliganism is to ignore it in the press. The one thing that drives them is media attention, becoming famous, or notorious, take your pick.
