I'm not going to be able to post in a timely manner for the 10am change tomorrow, my mom is having a biopsy. If somebody else could make the announcement.

I might need to take a sabbatical from updating this thread. My mother did not have a stroke, she has a malignant brain tumor that went undetected for too long and now it's too late. The can't operate, and due to other health problems chemotherpay would probably kill her. Shes' been given six weeks, two months at the most.
I'm feeling very depressed , and probably need to spend what little time left with her.
Worst Christmas ever! Hell, the celebrations were canceled and we never even put the decorations up. We told the rest of my family that lived in the area that they could travel to visit other family this year, we'd be fine. Turned out to be a lie, and I spent Christmas alone or at the hospital.
Could somebody else please do the daily updates while I concentrate on mom and getting her affairs in order as well as getting out of this funk?

I mostly only check the GoG threads (I favorited them so it's easy to see what's updated) , the GG.deals site, and the gamerpower site and you get 99% of the stuff I post about.

Currently falling apart as I just had to give a DNR order for my mother and put her on comfort care after being told there is no hope and the mental degradation will only get worse. They have started the process to put her on hospice.
Looking for a distraction.

 

My condolences. I went through something similar with my mother and I know how much it sucks to watch them fade away, knowing there's nothing that can be done. Take whatever time you need to grieve.

The game is called "Love", which they probably should have waited until the 8th to offer a game with that name.
It's a platformer that the preview looks like it was written for the Apple II+ (but with a different color palette) or the Commodore 64. From the preview the graphics are comparable to the original Load Runner.

I normally don't bother with Itch.io since they have so many freebies and most are of low quality that separating the wheat from the chaff is difficult.
However, this one was recommended a year or two ago. I haven't tried it yet.
