    Multiclassed C/T can also backstab with any weapon a single-classed thief can use. After getting UAI, this includes scimitars, but you won't be proficient in them.

    Staves and clubs are the backstab weapons of C/T's. Staves are great -- you get a magical staff very early in BG1 and a +4 staff is available at the Adventurer's Mart in SoA. My personal favorite is the staff mace (one-handed weapon so you can also use a shield).
