[IMG] Kam - sorry neither of your guesses were right.
Stefania - Well done! You got number 3. 3 is Maryland. But 7 isn't Delaware.
Vermillion - you got 8/10 right! Your doing the best :thumb:

8people 9/10. All right except for 7. Although 10 is in Alabamma (sp?) but the town/city is Brewton (but i wasn't really looking for that).

Ok as to your request no-one has even got the first letter of number 7.

My goodness, if #7 is not Montana it has to be some protestant state. Sounds like a law from the early settler days.

    How about Connecticut?

Nope it isn't Connecticut or Penssylvania (sp?); and yes it does share the same beginning letters as one of the other answers.

When someone finally does get 7, will anyone from that state tell us (in this topic) whether they're obeying the law? :p

In the defence of the yanks and their strange laws I would like to point out that all countries has some very peculiar laws. It do tend to be a bit more extreme when legislation is done by rather small communities. IIRC Switserland has loads of seriously funky laws but so does countries where legislation is more centralised as well.

*Finds it quite humorous that he's the only one to know how to spell Pennsylvania.*

    7 is Kentucky.
